My topic is viewed in two major ways the right and justice way of a officer reacting to a situation and then there is the view of all of the officers and what they thought was right at the moment. The first view is viewed by all the families that were abused in some type of way or they had a family member and they didn't think what happened to them was right or unlawful. This means that there are a lot of families that have been affected by the treatment of police officials. Officers have their view on the topic based on the situations they have been in and they are always going to think they had the right to beat up the person just because they didn't listen to all orders.
The first view is viewed by all of the people who have witnessed an abuse happening by a officer and the people that have been involved in the brutality of a officer. The people always see mistreatment happening between civilians and officers. The citizens of america don't talk about things unless they are given a reason to. On all of the cases of police brutality the officer always says that he had to stop the illegal action and put the person to ease. There was a case in New Mexico where a man was sleeping in private property and the officers killed the man because he refused to leave the property. This sounds to me as if they didn't know how to solve the problem or they just don't care of the people in the city. People often don't say nothing about the bad things that the officers do because they are afraid that there voice will not be heard. Citizens see the mistreatment as a sign of disrespect and they try to make the government and everyone around them see it but it isn't enough to stop the violence. This disrespect makes the people get up and take a stand for themselves and until the violence stops there will always be controversy coming from the people.
The second view is viewed by the officers creating the brutality. There have been officers in the psst that have got away with the harm that they have caused and they justified there actions with the fact that they were attacked. Officers look at police brutality as self defense. Even though they almost killed a guy or arrested a man with excessive strength they will always make up a story on why they did it. Most officers will tell you what they did right but they will never tell you what they did wrong. Officers have an advantage because like the case of treyvon martin the man who killed him said that the boy looked suspicious so he had to be killed? The view of officers is all wrong and they have to start changing there mentality on what is self defense or they will keep getting attacked by the citizens of their city.
